C&M Gives Park Gazebo a Facelift!
This Thanksgiving we are thankful for our generous Bedford community which supports C&M’s projects for the kids of Bedford! The C&M Pavilion at Bedford Village Park has been refurbished (in partnership with Bradsell Painting) and the new inclusive playground equipment will be installed soon, as well as the bricks and picnic table sponsorship plaques.
C&M’s Bedford Blaze Will Be Held Friday, October 30th!
Join C&M for a drive thru Trick or Treat event on Friday, October 30th from 6-8pm that will be full of glowing pumpkins, ghoulish decorations and Halloween treats! For $50 per family, you will receive a pumpkin that you can carve and have part of the Bedford Blaze display, dress up in costume and drive thru to receive bags of treats! Sign Up here to secure your spot as a limited number of cars are able to participate!
Once registered for The Bedford Blaze, pumpkins can be picked up on October 25-29th to allow for plenty of carving time! We are encouraging all families to carve their pumpkin and drop it off at St. Patrick’s on October 30th between 2-4pm so that it can be displayed as part of the event.
Prizes will be awarded for the best pumpkins. After the event Friday, pumpkins will glow again on the Village Green Saturday night and if you would like to keep your pumpkin, you may pick it up from the Village Green Sunday by 5pm. The remaining pumpkins will be organically disposed of Sunday night.
During The Bedford Blaze, cars will drive through the circle at St. Patrick’s School to see a display of glowing pumpkins, and at the end, every child will receive a nut-free bag of treats.
Families are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food pantry at the Community Center of Northern Westchester.
If you register for this event, C&M will follow up with an email with detailed information about all aspects of the evening!
This is a fundraising event for The Bedford Village Chowder & Marching Club, which raises funds for local youth-related programs in the Village of Bedford, NY so your generous support is greatly appreciated! Happy Halloween!
Thank Your for Helping C&M Run Another Successful Clean-up Weekend!
While our format was a little different this year, were were very happy to hold our annual Clean-up Weekend this fall. We look forward to using the funds raised to support the many youth programs in Bedford, including the new inclusive components of the Bedford Village Memorial Park playground, which we hope to install later this fall. Thank you all for your support and generosity!
C&M’s FALL Clean-up Days October 1st and 2nd!
C&M’s 2020 Clean-up Days and Tag Sale have been rescheduled for Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will run a bit differently this year.
PICKUPS – Thanks to outstanding community response, we have reached our more limited pickup capacity for this year’s Clean-up. Despite the challenging circumstances, we are thrilled that C&M’s annual event to reuse, recycle, & repurpose continues to be a valued service to the community. Stay tuned as we hope to be back to our full event late Spring 2021.
TAG SALE – The Tag Sale will take place at the Crusher Road yard on Friday, October 2nd. In order to comply with COVID-19 guidelines, shoppers must sign up for a 30 minute time slot to find their gems. Walk-ins will be allowed on a space available basis. C&M Movie Night Sept. 11th!

C&M Clean-Up Weekend Postponed
Due to the COVID-19 breakout in our area, we must postpone our Spring 2020 Clean-Up Weekend. We are hoping to re-schedule for the Fall, but cannot confirm at this time.
Please note that we are still accepting personalized brick orders for our Bedford Village Memorial Park accessible playground project. See the post above for more information.

We are no longer taking orders for brick pavers, but still have three picnic tables available. Sponsorship for a picnic table is $1,000 and can be shared by up to three families. If you would like to sponsor a picnic table please email us at bvchowderandmarching@gmail.com.
